New label of DOC Malbec from Luigi Bosca Reserve range.
Luigi Bosca is the pioneer winery in elaborating a Malbec under the Denomination of Origin Luján de Cuyo. This is the reason why it is a wine which seeks the ultimate expression of the terroir by harvesting its grape in its right level of ripeness and looking after every detail of the making.
Eyes: True varietal with a deep purple colour
Nose: Aromas of cherries and ripe plums. It is also spicy with notes of coffee and blackberries and a bit toasted as a result of its aging in oak barrels.
Mouth: It has a solid structure, juicy and elegant on the palate, with a balanced acidity and well-rounded. A strong but subtle red wine, apart from its excellent typicity.
Recommended food pairings: Ideal to match with game meat seasoned with spices, roast lamb and pastas with strong sauces.
Winemaker: José Irrera / Vicente Garzia
Winemaking notes: This wine is aged in new French oak barrels where it has its malolactic fermentation and it is matured for 14 months. Once the ageing is finished, the wine is stabilized, filtered and bottled. It is stored in the winery for at least 18 months before putting them in the market.
